Open: TimberWest Sites open from May long weekend until Thanksgiving weekend in October, then water is turned off, tables taken away. They are left open except during extreme weather conditions. Gates are left open if no problems with vandalism.

|Description: Located on the northern shores of Cowichan Lake, Little Shaw is a small WALK-IN only campsite named after Little Shaw Creek. An excellent group camping site, Little Shaw is directly off of North Shore Road at TimberWest Gate # NS16.1., 15 km from Youbou.
Things to Do:
Fishing – Cowichan Lake is known for its spectacular fresh-water fishing in the spring, fall and winter, when anglers can be challenged by rainbow, cutthroat and Dolly Varden trout.
Hiking – Try climbing the near by Heather Mountain.
Swimming – Cowichan Lake provides excellent swimming. The water is warm in the summer.
Spelunking – Try searching for the Caycuse Caves
